What Is Net Promoter Score (NPS)?
When you're making a major purchase like a manufactured or modular home, you want to know you're working with a company you can trust. One of the best ways to measure how customers truly feel about a business is through something called Net Promoter Score, or NPS.

What Is NPS?
Net Promoter Score is a customer satisfaction measurement based on one simple question:
“How likely are you to recommend this company to a friend or family member?”
Customers answer on a scale from 0 to 10 and are placed into one of three groups:
- Promoters (9–10): Customers who are extremely satisfied and likely to recommend the company.
- Passives (7–8): Customers who are generally satisfied but may not actively recommend the company.
- Detractors (0–6): Customers who were dissatisfied with some part of their experience.
How Is NPS Calculated?
The formula is simple:
Percentage of Promoters − Percentage of Detractors = Net Promoter Score
For example, if 70% of customers are Promoters and 20% are Detractors:
70% − 20% = NPS of 50
NPS scores can range from -100 to +100. The higher the score, the more likely customers are to recommend that company to someone else.
Why Does NPS Matter When Buying a Home?
Buying a home isn't like making an everyday purchase. The process can include financing, land preparation, delivery, setup, utilities, inspections, service work and many other moving parts.
That's why we believe customer satisfaction should be measured by more than simply whether someone purchased a home. NPS gives us feedback from real customers who have gone through the process.
These are families who purchased their home, completed the buying process, moved in and experienced what it's actually like to work with Magnolia Estates.
Our Customers Are the Real Measure of Our Success
At Magnolia Estates, we can tell you that we believe in honesty, transparency, quality and taking care of our customers. But what matters even more is what our customers say after doing business with us.
Our NPS scores give us a way to measure that.
A strong NPS tells us that our customers aren't simply satisfied — they're willing to put their own name behind Magnolia Estates and recommend us to their friends and family.
Magnolia Estates of Vicksburg: 93.26 NPS
Magnolia Estates of Vicksburg finished 2025 with an NPS score of 93.26 and received a 2025 5-Star NPS Award.
A score that high represents an extraordinary level of customer satisfaction and reflects the work of the entire Vicksburg team.
It also highlights something we believe strongly at Magnolia Estates:
The customer experience doesn't end when the home is sold.
Our service department plays a major role in the experience our homeowners have after the sale. At Magnolia Estates of Vicksburg, that commitment has been led by My Nguyen and the service team, who continue working to take care of customers long after the paperwork is complete.
Why We Share Our NPS
We don't share our NPS simply because it's a number we're proud of. We share it because customers deserve to know how other homeowners feel about the company they're considering doing business with.
When you're comparing home dealers, don't just look at the house.
Look at the company standing behind it.
Look at how customers are treated before the sale, during the process and after they move into their home.
At Magnolia Estates, that's the standard we're continuing to work toward every day.
The Right Home at the Right Price — backed by a team that plans to be there after the sale.
